Chaseville Fish & Chips

We got a fish and chip takeaway and it was lovely. Freshly cooked whilst we waited. Very delicious and very generous portions. The guys that run this fish and chip shop are also really friendly - thank you. We will be back.

Fish n chips is a very very occasional treat for me & after a very long & stressful week I wanted to indulge myself & to hell with the calories 🤣 The last time I had fish n chips was in Whitby, Yorkshire (the holy grail of fish n chips) in December 2024. Despite having lived in N21 most of my life, this was the first time I've ever set foot in this wonderful chippy & I can honestly say the quality was Whitby worthy! The most beautiful crispy golden fluffy chips & soft flaky haddock in a perfect golden light crispy batter & lovely friendly service too, they gave me a mini chippy bag to munch while I waited for my fish to cook which Ithought was a nice touch. My only moan - way too many chips, next time I'll ask for a kids portion which im sure will still be more than enough for me. I'll be back....just not too often, sadly abs ain't built in the chippy...if only 🤣

Best fish and chips I’ve had in years. Fresh, crispy batter, all cooked fresh, delicious home made tartar sauce and generous portions. Bye bye kingfisher, we’ve found much better. Just the best. We’ll be back.

Amazing. This food tastes great! Generous portions and flavour hits the spot. Both curry sauce and Tartar sauce are the best I have had in ages. They threw in a couple cos bites for me to taste… well… what can I say…. I’m so glad they did because they are delicious. I can’t think of anything that has let my meal down. Kids loved it too. Thank you so much!!!

We often have fish and chips from Chaseville, and it's always really excellent and last night was no exception. I had a huge cod, thick white fish, thin crispy batter and beautiful chips. Honestly, Chaseville are top quality and we are very lucky to have them around the corner from us. Guys, please keep up the good work. Update: I've just got to write again about Chaseville Fish & Chips. I love fish and chips and have had fish and chips from restaurants and takeaways all over London and many parts of the UK and I've got to say that I am so lucky to live around the corner from one of the very best. Once again, I had fish and chips from Chaseville tonight and it was just so good. If you have not tried them, give them a chance. You will not be sorry. And I've got to give a shout out to Moe, the owner. Very nice guy, and really cares about giving his customers a great service. He's also got one of the best fish fryers in the business. Do yourself a favour and go there.

Read great things about this place and wanted to try it for myself and it did not disappoint. I was just going to get a plain sausage and some chips but got distracted by some freshly fried cod bites… perfect fluffy yet crispy batter dipped in cold tartare sauce. Yummmm! Of course that was on top of my order of sausage and chips… why not? The chips were soft on the inside and surprisingly crunchy on the outside… best I’ve had in a long long time! The plain sausage was great too. Fantastic restaurant and a must try!

Lovely fish and chips! Great experience while we waited - friendly service. I am often disappointed with fish and chips in London but this place exceeded my expectations! Tasty thick cod fish, light layer of batter and delicious chunky chips. Very happy, thank you!
